My Philanthropy Team (MPT) was founded in 2015 by fundraising veteran Stacy Lee Gardner in response to the deep inequities and injustices facing communities around the world. Stacy knew that lasting change doesn’t happen in isolation—it takes skilled, compassionate people working together toward a shared vision.

That’s why we do things differently. We embed alongside your team—bringing expert fundraising strategy, implementing campaigns and appeals, finely-tuning development systems, and providing hands-on deliverables like proposals, donor materials, and reports. Whether you’re planning a capital campaign or need interim staffing support, we’re here to roll up our sleeves and help you move the work forward.

Statement on Racial Equity

My Philanthropy Team is a woman-owned business, with 20% of our team members identifying as BIPOC. We believe Black Lives Matter and actively engage in activities to address systemic racism in fundraising and philanthropy, as well as the society at large. We believe that unconscious racial bias exists and that white allies have the responsibility to examine their behaviors and biases and begin the work of dismantling generations of the harmful and oppressive norms perpetuated by a white dominant culture.

In addition to the awesome experts who make up our core team, we have a close knit group of affiliated professionals who add to the level of support and expertise we provide. This includes graphic designers, photographers and videographers, event planners, organizational development professionals and more.
